Aunt Connie’s Greenbean Casserole

Ingredients

  • 6 cans green beans
  • ½ stick butter (¼ cup)
  • 1 can of Carnation evaporated milk (add milk)
  • 2 cans of cream of mushroom soup
  • 2 cans of fried onions (use ½ can mixed into soup)
  • Pepper, to taste

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 350°F.
  2. Butter the bottom of a metal casserole pan with the ½ stick of butter.
  3. Add the green beans to the pan.
  4. In a separate bowl, mix together:
    • Cream of mushroom soup
    • Evaporated milk
    • Pepper to taste
    • ½ can fried onions
  5. Pour the soup mixture over the green beans and stir gently to combine.
  6. Cover the pan with a lid.
  7. Bake for 30 minutes.
  8. Add remaining fried onions on top as desired before serving.
