Grandma Jeane’s Creamy Icing

Ingredients

  • 2/3 cup White Crisco
  • 2 pounds powdered sugar
  • 1 tablespoon clear vanilla
  • 9 tablespoons cold water

Instructions

  1. Combine Crisco, powdered sugar, vanilla, and cold water.
  2. Beat with a mixer until creamy.
  3. Store in the refrigerator, tightly covered.

Note: Some brands of powdered sugar may not mix as thick and creamy. This can be solved by adjusting the water amount or adding more powdered sugar.
